Run these two steps in your terminal.

1. Connect Relay:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user relay https://relay.playbookmedia.io/mcp

2. Add the SEO skills:

npx skills add https://github.com/PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo/tree/main/plugins/openseo/skills --skill '*' --agent claude-code

Restart Claude Code, approve the Relay sign-in when it asks, then try:

Use Relay to check my connection and list my projects.

Then ask for SEO Coach, or run /seo-coach.

Prefer a single install? Claude Code can also install the bundle from Relay's repository. It adds the same connection and skills, under the name openseo:

/plugin marketplace add PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo
/plugin install openseo@openseo

Claude Cowork and the Claude desktop appCopy Anchor Link

On a paid Claude plan:

1. Open Customize (in Cowork, open the Cowork tab first) → Plugins → Add marketplace → Add from a repository.
2. Enter https://github.com/PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo and install the plugin it offers. It adds the Relay connection and the SEO skills.
3. Approve the Relay sign-in.

On the Free plan, add Relay as a custom connector instead. Free plans allow one custom connector.

TroubleshootingCopy Anchor Link

• Tools do not appear: restart Claude Code, or run /mcp to check that relay is connected.
• Sign-in loops: run claude mcp remove relay, add it again, and sign in again.
• Skills do not appear: run npx skills list to check where they were installed, then restart Claude Code.
