Install Agent Skills

Skills are separate from the MCP connection. MCP gives your agent Relay's data; each skill is a SKILL.md file that tells it how to run one SEO workflow.

First, connect Relay MCP. Then add the skills you want.

Install with the skills CLICopy Anchor Link

Choose skills and agents interactively:

npx skills add https://github.com/PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo/tree/main/plugins/openseo/skills

Install every skill:

npx skills add https://github.com/PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo/tree/main/plugins/openseo/skills --skill '*'

Install every skill for one agent only:

# Claude Code
npx skills add https://github.com/PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo/tree/main/plugins/openseo/skills --skill '*' --agent claude-code

# Codex
npx skills add https://github.com/PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo/tree/main/plugins/openseo/skills --skill '*' --agent codex

Copy the files by handCopy Anchor Link

git clone https://github.com/PlaybookMediaLLC/open-seo.git

Copy the folders you want from plugins/openseo/skills/ into your agent's skills folder, for example ~/.claude/skills/ for Claude Code. Copy whole folders: some skills include supporting files.

A custom ChatGPT connection gives ChatGPT Relay's tools but not skill files. You can still ask for any workflow in plain language. See the ChatGPT guide.

Restart your agent or start a new session, then ask it to list the Relay skills it can see. Start with SEO Coach or SEO Project Setup.
